Leg Day – Three Easy Workouts

Lunges target the quadriceps, but involve other muscles, including the glutes, hamstrings, calves and core muscles, making them an important exercise for toning the lower body.

Kickbacks involve standing on one foot and extending your other leg behind you. Whether you want a better looking butt or you want to get your glute muscles firing properly, kickbacks are an excellent training tool.

Squats obviously help to build your leg muscles, but they also create an anabolic environment, which promotes body-wide muscle building.
